  • Sentinel is the Construction Manager at Risk for the new 160,000 SF corporate headquarters for First National Bank.  The fit-out is part of a new high-rise being built in Downtown Pittsburgh. 

  • The project includes demountable partitions along with high end finishes for the executive offices, board room and conference center.    


Emerson PWS

Contract Type:  Construction Manager At-Risk

  • Sentinel is renovating an existing 150,000 SF open concept office space into a new corporate headquarters for one of Emerson’s North American business units. 

  • The renovation includes gutting the existing space and installing all new clean finishes.  The space features client focused training labs, multiple meeting areas, a new corporate Board Room, kitchenettes, coffee spaces and collaboration spaces.  The finishes included open ceilings as well as polished concrete floors.  Glass demountable partitions are included throughout the space to allow natural light to filter throughout the entire floorplan. 


University of Pittsburgh Chiller Plant

Contract Type: General Trades Contractor

  • Sentinel is completing the Structural and Exterior Enclosure package on the Pitt Chiller Plant project. 

  • This ~$11,000,000 subcontract includes all of the concrete foundations, structural walls, structural steel, concrete deck, curtain wall, metal panel and roofing packages for the project. 

  • Sentinel is working closely with the Turner/Mosites JV since much of the critical path for the project is controlled by Sentinel for the early stages of the project. 


836 Fulton Street

Contract Type:  Construction Manager at Risk 

  • Volume:  $2,000,000 SF:  15,000

  •  Creative reuse of an old 15,000 SF ice cream factory into new office space and lab facilities. 

  • The existing space had multiple levels of sloping floors which all needed to be leveled and modified to create level working areas.  A new elevator shaft was cut into the floors and installed as well as all new MEPs throughout the space.  The space highlights open ceilings and exposed mechanicals throughout.  A new main entrance was cut into the exterior of the building to create a new arrival point to the building.  A portion of the rear exterior wall was removed and new storefront installed to create an interior courtyard condition that brings in natural light to the rear of the building.
